Goplasticpallets.com takes recycling into its own hands at IMHX

This week Goplasticpallets.com – The Responsible Plastic Pallet Company – will be taking recycling into its own hands at IMHX, the UK’s largest intralogistics event, in support of Recycle Week 23-29 September, the annual celebration of recycling delivered by Recycle Now, whose theme this year is ‘Recycling: It’s in our own hands’.

Goplasticpallets.com’s impressive 63sqm exhibition stand will have a heavy focus on recycling following the launch of its Responsibility campaign earlier this year which heralded the company’s pledge to recycle each and every plastic pallet and box it supplies to customers. To date Goplasticpallets.com has recycled an astounding 148 tonnes of customers’ plastic waste – enough to produce over 9,000 new medium duty pallets.

On the stand, Goplasticpallets.com’s recycling experts will be on hand to answer customers’ questions about the company’s recycling scheme and how it can help them improve their environmental credentials. As a handy giveaway, the company has sourced some stylish branded pens made from recycled plastic. In addition, Goplasticpalets.com will also be handing out special postcards about the company’s recycling scheme, to encourage even more customers to get involved.

From this week, customers will also be able to sign up to get their plastic pallets and boxes recycled through the company’s website, thanks to a new form that is being launched at: goplasticpallets.com/recycling

Jim Hardisty, MD of Goplasticpallets.com, said: “We’re delighted to be a supporter of Recycle Week. This year’s theme, which is focused on galvanising the public into recycling more of the right things, really chimes with our recycling pledge.

“We launched our Responsibility campaign to show our customers that we are taking a stand on what matters to them – plastics recycling. As part of this we revitalised our mission statement and vision; in fact our entire company has had an environmental overhaul as we strive to help create more sustainable supply chains by providing long lasting, reusable plastic pallets and boxes and ensuring they are responsibly recycled at the end of their long working life.”
